Real Junko

Junko Enoshima is the main villain of the video game and anime series Dangan Ronpa. In the games she is voiced by both Amanda C. Milla and Erin Fitzgerald while she is voiced by Jamie Marchi in the anime series.

Personality Edit

Junko's true personality is unsure, due to the fact she keeps 'switching' from different personalities within a short amount of time, having stated in game that keeping up one "appearance" for too long bores her. However, she is capable of maintaining one persona for extended periods of time when necessary, such as when she was overseeing the students through Monokuma.

Junko often switched between "moods," which included (but was not limited to) her Monokuma persona, sickening cuteness, severe depression, clinical sophistication, and haughty superiority. She switched between "moods" regularly, often imitating other students' expressions, which made for highly unsettling conversation to the survivors. She is also shown to be intelligent, cunning, somewhat impulsive, and very manipulative, as shown by her being able to manipulate an unknown number of people into joining Ultimate Despair.

Above all, however, Junko was deeply obsessed with despair, having found despair to be one of the most enjoyable emotions for her, whether it be the inflicting of despair unto others, or suffering from despair wholeheartedly. This often proves to be her biggest weakness, as she gives her opponents a "fair" chance to defeat her in order to make their despair all the greater if they fail, and happily welcomes her own despair if her plans fail.

Junko is a teenage girl with blue eyes and long, thick, strawberry blonde hair tied in two pigtails, with bear hair clips (complete white/complete black), and was wearing a black cardigan over a white dress shirt loose enough to expose some of her bra that was black with red spots, and has many accessories, including a loose black-and-white tie and red bow, a red miniskirt and lace-up boots, and had on long, fake red nails.

Junko makes her first appearances in MCF: The Eye of a Snake, appearing in a jail cell as the girls goes to learn how Hazama escaped his latest captured from jail, which reveals Junko and Wing had fought each other before Wing joined the team. She may play a bigger role in the story but that will be revealed as the story is written.

Trivia Edit

  • In the novel Dangan Ronpa/Zero, it's heavily implied that Junko's real eye and hair color is dark red. It's also implied that she looks rather average without her makeup.
  • Junko means “shield” coupled with “child”, while Enoshima refers to two things.
  • Junko's voice changes several times throughout the final school trial in order to represent her changing personalities.
