Hazama (Centralfiction, Character Select Artwork)

Hazama is one of the main villains of the video game series called BlazBlue. He is voiced by Doug Erholtz.

Physical Appearances Edit

Hazama always has an uneasy feeling around him. He is a man with bright green hair and his eyes normally closed. He wears a simple black suit with a white shirt underneath, short brown gloves, and brown steel-toed shoes. He dons a pair of black trousers held up by two brown belts. He completes the outfit with a black fedora hat to close the shady visage. When allowing Terumi to take over his form, he removes his hat and tie, his hair spikes upward, and he opens his eyes, which are gold with snake-like slits for pupils.

Hazama maintained a calm and quiet demeanor around most people, pretending to be harmless as a member of the Intelligence Department. He claimed to hate fighting and preferred to avoid conflict. This, however, was simply a guise to his true nature. When people saw through it, he showed his true colors as selfish and manipulative; destroying other people's lives and twisting their beliefs for his own gain. He had no qualms with killing those who got in his way and showed absolutely no remorse for his actions.

He was shown to be just as cruel and detached as Terumi himself, working in sync with him with almost no problems and taking just as much pleasure from the suffering of others as he did. Hazama took every opportunity to upset others by mocking them, deliberately provoking them, or even bringing up and prodding at a sensitive topic; all for his own enjoyment. Even when he was on the losing side of a conflict, he would take the time to insult and taunt his foes.

Yuki Terumi

Hazama was the captain of the NOL's Intelligence Department. However, he was really an artificially created human designed to be the host vessel for Yuki Terumi, a former member of the Big Six Heroes. More information on him outside of MCF can be seen here:

Hazama makes his first appearances in MCF: The Eye of the Snake in which he steals files on Emmy, Tracy, Tricia, Raina, Jessy, Daisy, Starz, and Skyla for reasons unclear at the moment. Course, the events of the story will lead him to becoming one of the main foes to MCF, mainly to Wing who he had faced many times before she joined the group. Knowing that most of the the Mystery Case Files aren't use to fighting enemies like him, he plans to use that to his advantage.

Later on, he becomes a main villain to the of the Gem arc. More information will be revealed as the arc begins.

Trivia Edit

  • Hazama's birthday falls on the International Dance Day, a reference to the fact some of his sprite movements and one of his alternate color palettes are based off Michael Jackson.
  • Due to his natural in game, many fans have nicknamed Hazama the 'King of Trolls' and 'Trollzama'.
    • In story, Wing normally calls Hazama a 'snake eye perv' which may become a bit of a run on gag.
  • His natural is also a bit like Joker from the Batman series. This may be reference during the Gem arc.
  • In the game, when shocked by lighting, instead of a skeleton, an imprint of his ghost form is revealed.
  • He is one of the few villains to be a guardian of a Gem, being the current guardian of the Gem of Lies.
  • The MCF parents have heard of him as Yuki Terumi but not as Hazama. This is why the girls (Outside of Wing) have never heard much of Hazama before.
    • However, Jack and Sally, Wing's adopted parents, and Master Hand, Amanda's adopted father, do know Hazama. Cause, this is due to the fact their daughters have faced Hazama before.
